Bow River Rainbow
We had been in Canada for all of fifteen minutes — the end of a twenty hour drive, to be exact, when this scene unfolded. It was raining, but not the kind of rain where the sky turns to dark indigo and menacing thunderheads loom overhead. It was light, an almost golden hue, and the rain felt warm. As we drove along the Bow River, I looked to my right and saw the the most vibrant rainbow I’ve ever seen. It was just astonishing — I wept y’all, like actually wept (I can’t believe I’m admitting this on my own website). It was one of those moments that reminded me why we do this; why we drive twenty hours or wake up at the crack of dawn or hike for days on end. It’s to see things like this.
All photographs are printed on smooth matte 100% cotton hot press fine art paper, complete with a silky smooth finish. Framing is not included. Aluminum, canvas, and other materials are available upon request, along with other sizes. Your purchase helps support a small business (so I can keep crying at views like this and making art).
